My Roatan Home
I just got back after a month’s R&R in my home in Roatan. As John Denver sang, it’s good to be back home again! However, it was great to escape for a while.
So if you’ve been wondering why I have not posted for a month or so, that’s the reason. I took the time to relax, enjoy the warmth, and think about what I really want to do for the next year or two. I expect to have an even better idea after tomorrow, when I am attending a seminar by Mike Dooley in Houston – I’ll let you know what happens!
The excitement began already for me, when I found a cheap flight to London. I booked two seats for early May with the intention of taking a couple of weeks in UK and France to coincide with the Country Music Mayfest where my stepson will be the star performer. It will also give me a chance to visit friends and relatives in UK, see some of the prehistoric monuments in Brittany and brush up my French.
Megalithic Tomb
We’re planning another trip to Roatan in the summer – probably July and August. That way we can escape the summer heat in Texas by heading for the tropics, where we can enjoy the trade winds and snorkeling and diving in the warm waters of the Caribbean! Why not come and join us, and maybe take a sailing trip, too?
Isn’t it great sometimes just to have fun?

Hi Alan, that sounds like a lot of fun, did you do any scuba diving at the Caribbean?
I’m looking forward to reading what you thought of the Mike Dooley seminar. I’ve been listening to his audios “Infinite Possiblilities” and “Leveraging the Universe”, I really like them a lot!
bye for now, Julieanne
Hi Julianne,
We didn’t dive this trip – the water was too cold for me! We’ll probably dive down there this summer again. We used to dive more, but know most of the sites that are near us so well that we’ve become lazy about it.
Loved the Dooley workshop – I’m still working through the experience. I had intended to post about it while it was still fresh in my mind, but life got in the way
Thanks for the connection.
Alan
trying to find you on facebook
Hi Alan,
It sure is great to “just have fun” for a while, and I’m glad you took this opportunity!
The Caribbean sounds wonderful at this time of year, to this Albertan. And I would love to visit the British Isles some day and find the place of my ancestors in Ireland.
By the way, according to a note that shows up under this comment box, your version of the CommentLuv is no longer supported and it says to tell you that you need to update your plugin.

Ireland has been on my list for a long time, Willena – I just didn’t make it there yet.
You’re right about my CommentLuv – I’m thinking about changing my blog location because the provider I’m working with doesn’t give me the chance to update it and also limits some of my other plugin options. Thanks for the reminder.
