Age Doesn’t Matter!

I’m excited to find a new blog by a network marketing business colleague. Doesn’t sound very interesting, but what excites me is that this colleague is about the same age as my granddaughter! Like they say, age doesn’t matter – unless you’re a cheese!

Curtis talks about his experiences as a newbie to network marketing, and how he found the system that he needed to get his business started. Update on thatMLMbeat: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

A couple of weeks ago, well, more like 6 weeks ago, I attempted to do the last post on thatMLMbeat.com before launching our new platform. Being optimistic with the programming that had to be done, I was close to a 100% certain that we would be up and running by now.

But with intense programming, pages of flowcharts and other technical jargon that I don’t want to bore you with, we unfortunately hit a road block.

I wanted to make sure that we cover each little aspect of our social network and deal with all the complications so that it will be a more user friendly system for our community.

Bare in mind, it’s not just any social network, this one has a HUGE twist that will help all network marketers from all companies and systems brand themselves to generate a plethora of leads, etc.

Trust me, it’ll be well, well worth it… muahahaha, muahahaha! (Cheesy laugh with my little finger in my mouth aka Dr. Evil in Austin Powers in the pic)

Okay, maybe that’s a sign that I’ve been stuck behind my computer for waaayy too long!

Back to thatMLMbeat…

So basically the road block means that every little bit of programming that has been done for the past 7 weeks are now worthless. That will be the bad news.

The good news is that it was quite a learning curve and after re doing all the flowcharts and about 14 screen recordings, we are back on track!

So, as from today, we are starting the project from scratch, but this time I am more than 100% sure that we have covered every aspect of our system. But…

If you have been a reading our exciting internet and network marketing posts for quite sometime, you might have realized that the frequency of our blog posts have slowed down dramatically.

On face value it might seem as if we are slowing down, but believe me: It’s the calm before the storm!

Right now our developers are hard at work crafting a state of the art platform that will compliment the network marketing industry in numerous ways.

And no, we are not talking about another hyped up self promotioning MLM blog, but rather a platform that will benefit any network marketer from any company or promoting any network marketing system.

To implement this with perfection, a few things need to change…

When we started thatMLMbeat, the idea was to keep the root directory (http://thatMLMbeat.com) open for future products. This is the reason our blog is hosted in the blog subdirectory, http://thatMLMbeat.com/blog.

To accomodate the platform for our multi user blog, we need to move our blog to the root directory.

Moving however will damage all our links that we have attracted to date, so rather than move, we will be starting fresh. http://thatMLMbeat.com/blog will still exist, but all widgets, contact information, etc will redirect back to the root where our new blog will be hosted.

Quite a pain to implement, but well worth it as you will soon come to realize.

All the content will stay in it’s place, but this will be the very last post on http://thatMLMbeat.com/blog.

The good news is that all our readers and entrepreneurs will be able to connect within the community and be a part of the new thatMLMbeat!!
