How To Make Money Writing – Even If You Can’t Write!

How To Make Money Writing

Did you know that some people who make a lot of money writing failed high school English? No matter how well or how badly you write, you can make serious money writing articles. But most article writers earn little or nothing.

Why is this?

Why Most Article Writers Fail

failWriting for profit is not difficult, but unless you know what you’re doing and how to do it you won’t make money. What most writers don’t know is that it’s not about how well you write. Making money from writing is a simple skill, but you were never taught how to do it.

For example, did you know that your purpose in writing an article is NOT to get people to read the article? You really don’t care how much of the article they read, because reading the article doesn’t bring you any money!  What you really want them to do is click on your link

You Don’t Need Long Articles

The temptation when you start writing articles is to put as much content in as you can and write everything you know about the subject. This approach leads to long, boring articles, with too much information, that don’t get read and don’t earn money.

Keep it short. 500-650 words is quite long enough (check the length of this article) – your job is to maintain interest, not to wear down your reader.

It Doesn’t Take Much Time

You know already that writing articles is a sure-fire way to earn money, but are you concerned about the time it will take? The answer is it doesn’t take long to write an article.

With a little practice, you will find that writing an article for profit will only take you about 15-20 minutes (as long as you’re not a really slow typist!) If your typing skills are not up to that, you can easily learn to improve them – there are many resources on the internet you can use to speed up. A Google search on “improve typing speed” yields about two and one-half million results!

It Doesn’t Need to Cost A Lot

There are many free resources available – some good, some not so good. Here is a great free resource to get you started.. There is also inexpensive (not free) training available.

The best training is the kind where you follow their rules and write articles as you go. Ezine Articles, for example, provides excellent training in how to write articles destined for their site. They are also one of the few sites that insist on all original content, forcing you to write your own material rather than just copying someone else’s work.

Where Do You Find Content?

There is content all around you. You can search for articles that have already been written on your topic, but do not copy them without permission and full attribution. Quote your source, and make it clear that you have copied the article with permission.

Better still, rewrite the article in your own words. This is an excellent way to get started with article writing, but after a while you will find that you have more than enough information in your head to write entirely original material. It just needs organizing.

Conclusion

Article marketing can be rewarding. It may seem like a chore when you start, but you will soon find that it’s easy to set aside a half hour or so per day to write one or two articles. The secret is to make it a habit.

Make Money Online: The 7 Secrets Of Internet Marketing

7 Secrets of Internet Marketing

Are you losing money with your Internet Marketing Business? If not, are you making less than you hoped to? Would you like to know how to earn more?

If the answer to any of these questions was “Yes”, this article will give you the secrets to building the business you desire, but first you must understand three principles.

First Principle:

What goes around comes around. If your motivation is just to make money, you might as well quit now. Your motivation has to be to help people by providing something they want or need: the money comes as a result of filling that want or need.

Second Principle:

You will need to invest some of your own money, as well as time, to build any business. You will also need to reinvest your profits to build the business. Anything else is just a hobby.

Third Principle:

There is no magic button - you will have to work at it. It may not be hard work, but you will need to work consistently, according to a plan, for some period of time. Depending on the business and the tools you choose, that time may be measured in weeks, months or years.

The good news is that it will all be worth it: you CAN have a successful Internet Business if you apply these three principles and learn the Seven Secrets.

Secret 1: A Product

You must have something that other people want – a product. It may be your own product or service, or someone else’s product that you get paid for promoting. Whatever it is, it must be something that

  • interests you personally,
  • you believe in, and
  • has a market.

Secret 2: An Autoresponder

You will need to build an online relationship with your prospects and customers through email. An autoresponder is the tool for this: it enables you to send personalized emails to every prospect or customer you have.

Secret 3: A Lead Capture Page

You may not need a full website, but you certainly need a web page where people (prospects) can leave their name and email address to enable you to contact them. This page should include some incentive for them to give you their information: a newsletter,a free gift or a special offer.

Secret 4: A Sales Page

Once signed up, a prospect becomes a lead. Your financial goal is to sell this lead your product, and for this you will need a sales page, describing what the product will do to satisfy your lead’s needs or wants.

Secret 5: Follow-up emails

Leads don’t generally buy from you unless they know you, like you and trust you not to cheat them. The follow-up emails build this relationship for you. If your product has these emails already prepared for you to use, so much the better: you may edit them to match your own personality if you choose.

Secret 6: A Traffic Builder

trafficNone of this works if nobody sees your offer: you need traffic. There are many ways to build traffic if you don’t mind waiting a few years, but a good solo ad provider is the secret to building your business fast. Solo ads are advertisements sent out by a solo ad provider on your behalf. They are not free, but, used wisely, a good solo ad provider can provide a substantial return on investment very quickly.

Secret 7: Training

None of us knows everything about Internet Marketing. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or have been doing it for years, there is always more to learn – that’s one thing that makes it fun! You will need to allocate some time each week to learning something new about the changing scene of Internet Marketing.

Take Action!

Review the three principles to see if Internet Marketing is for you. If so, use the seven secrets to build a profitable business. Enjoy your journey to prosperity!

Acquiring all the tools needed for the Seven Secrets of Internet Marketing can be expensive and time consuming. An autoresponder alone, for example, can cost anything from $15 to $300 or so per month, and you can spend thousands of dollars on training. I know – I have done so in the past!

I have found only one system that provides all seven tools at an affordable cost. If you’re serious about an internet business, go to this link now!

How To Set And Achieve Goals That Work For You

How To Achieve Goals

Did you set personal and business goals this year? If not, you know you need to! If you have, how are you doing so far? Do you need help in achieving them?

Why People Fail To Achieve Goals

Sometimes we set goals that are just plain unrealistic, but most of the time we just lose track of what we’re doing. Have you found yourself getting sidetracked or overwhelmed? Don’t beat yourself up about it: view this as a sign that you are moving in the right direction.

Yes, I know it sounds strange, but your failure to meet your goals is not entirely your fault. When you set the goals, you didn’t know that “x” was going to happen, or that “y” would be far more time-consuming than you expected. So you got sidetracked - welcome to the human race!

Understand that we all get sidetracked, we all fail to meet our goals sometimes, and we all become overwhelmed by unexpected circumstances. You don’t actually fail until you give up. Let me repeat that: you don’t fail until you give up.

Look on failing to meet your goal as a lesson in how to set and meet goals. If you never fail to meet your goal, your goal wasn’t really worth setting in the first place, but if you fail all the time it can be very discouraging. That’s when you need to reassess your priorities – something is holding you back.

How To Improve The Odds

So will you always fail to meet some of your goals? If you have set SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Risky and Timely), the answer is “Yes”. If you meet all of your goals on time, they were too easy – not “Risky”.

Your aim should be to set goals that you WILL complete, even if they take a little longer than expected. For one goal, you set a time limit of, say, March 31st., and on April 1st. you realize you still haven’t completed it. Don’t abandon the goal – just change the end date to one that now looks achievable.

Revisit your goals regularly, preferably daily, and make sure that you’re staying on track. Periodically, say once a week or once a month, review them to see if they all still fit your purpose. Often, when you do this, you’ll find better ways to achieve your intention with some of the goals using knowledge that you gained since you set them.

Learn From Others

Read and study what you can about Time ManagementGoal Setting and Improving Productivity. Spend an hour or so a day on self-improvement. Above all, don’t become discouraged - everybody has days when they feel as though they have achieved nothing: it’s not just you!

I find that reading twenty pages or so of a personal development book just before I go to sleep has a huge effect on my motivation the next day. Tasks that normally seem daunting are exciting, stimulating and interesting, and I tackle them with ease and pleasure. The result is a feeling of achievement at the end of the day – what has happened is that my subconscious has been working out my day for me while I was asleep!

Conclusion

If your goal setting and achievement are not working for you, the chances are you’re just not doing it right. Our tendency when this happens is to blame ourselves for our failure. The problem is not with you, it’s with the process you are using, so learn how to do it right and see how easy and enjoyable it can be.
